Back in 2008, three folks who really like beer, really like festivals and really like the Mad River Valley, decided they wanted to bring the fun of a beer fest back to the Valley and that the only way it was going to happen was if they pulled up our bootstraps and did it themselves!
Although Siptemberfest has grown over the years it is still the greatest little beer festival in the state of Vermont. There are still only around 24 brewers and roughly 800 tickets for sale, making it the Best Little Beer Fest in Vermont.

Brewfest is one of Killington’s most distinctive annual celebrations. This event will once again be returning to the Pico Mountain Base Area to enjoy the best in craft beers and Vermont mountain views.
Entry into Killington Brewfest is for people ages 21+ ONLY. Children of attendees and anyone under 21 will not be allowed into the venue. No outside food, drinks, backpacks, or pets will be allowed.
Join the 15th annual Oktoberfest at the von Trapp Brewing Bierhall at 1333 Luce Hill Road in Stowe VT! The Inseldudler Band will be playing at both sessions as well as Trachten contests (for traditional Oktoberfest outfits), cask tapping and U.S. Steinholding competitions at each session.
There are 2 sessions this year on Saturday (11:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.) and each session is five hours in length. Adult tickets include your first beer, an Oktoberfest souvenir mug, an app, entree and live entertainment. Students include everything except the beer and get a soda instead and Youth get an app and a soda.

What’s better than one Oktoberfest? How about two? Mount Snow will be hosting the 26th annual Oktoberfest with a re-imagined format of new and old. Come join on Saturday October 5 and Saturday October 12 from 11am-5pm for a more traditional spin on the world-renowned festival.
These events will offer free admission and guests will see some of their favorite winter hangouts like Cuzzins, Station Tap Room, and 1900’ Burger transformed into traditional German bier halls offering a diverse selection of domestic, imported, and local seasonal beers, ciders, and other beverages.Traditional Oktoberfest fare will be available in addition to a variety of local vendors and food trucks.
The base area will be bumping with live music, games, and activities for all ages. Also returning this year, after a much too long hiatus, will be the Mount Snow Oktoberfest Craft Fair. Guests will be able to stroll the base area and visit dozens of local and regional crafters showcasing a wide variety of offerings.

While you sip and kick back for the weekend, enjoy live music on the outdoor stage from Fritz's Polka Band, The Mallett Brothers Band and The Sensational Soul Cruisers, in front of scenic Fall foliage.
Saturday's Brewfest will run from 11:30AM to 5:30PM, with doors at 11:30AM and the last pours at 5PM. Crown a champion at the annual Chili Cookoff by sampling a platter of chili flavors and voting for your favorite. Keep the HarvestFest Weekend celebration rolling along with Sunday's Octoberfest. This traditional style Octoberfest includes a brewfest/beer sampling add-on with a commemorative beer sampling glass, live music from Dave Domenick and High and Mighty Brass Band, a stein hoisting competition, a keg toss contest, beer brats, food and more. While this event is geared toward 21+ adults, all ages are welcome at Octoberfest.
