Cross country ski and snowshoe through open meadows and along wooded trails; explore terrain for all skill levels. With 60 kilometers of trails, (40km groomed), the views vary from the tips of the mountains to the ice covered lake. Daily grooming to maintain a well manicured trail system with track and skating lanes. Our snowmaking covers a 2km loop ensuring optimal conditions, regardless of “mother nature.” Many of our trails are pet-friendly. Our Activities Center offers lessons for all levels, equipment rentals, and snacks. Dining options in the main lodge include casual yet hearty fare for lunch and dinner at The Mountain Top Tavern (with 12 Vermont Craft Brews on tap) and dinner service in our restaurant, both with fireside seating. While at the Resort enjoy a horse drawn sleigh ride, ice skating or visit our full service spa and salon! Accommodations range from rooms & suites in the main lodge, to luxury cabins & guest houses. The Mountain Top Restaurant is located in the main lodge at Mountain Top Resort (adjacent to the Mountain Top Tavern). With modern mountain decor, a cozy fireplace and an expanse of windows looking out on the surrounding mountains and 740 acre lake - the atmosphere and views can't be beat. In the summer, enjoy dining on the terrace. Our Chef prepared menu is inspired by our local surroundings and changes seasonally. Reservations are recommended on weekends.
